Project Insight
College students often face challenges in balancing tight budgets, dietary preferences, cultural diversity, and time constraints when planning meals. Many struggle with food choices that align with their resources and lifestyles, especially international students with unique dietary needs. This project aims to solve these pain points by creating an all-in-one platform for meal planning that is personalized, inclusive, and community-driven.
Problem Statement
How might we help students quickly create an at-home meal plan that meets their budget and lifestyle needs?
Specific Goals:
1. Simplify meal planning for college students by providing an easy-to-use interface.
2. Enable personalized meal plans based on user budgets, available ingredients, and dietary preferences.
3. Allow for users to have a budget planning system where they can manage their budget.
4. Support cultural inclusivity by incorporating diverse meal options that cater to international students.
5. Provide a social feed for users to share their experiences with others and learn from others

Low-fi vs High-fi Protoypes
Overall Changes:
-
We made sure to include status signifiers and made sure results appeared tailored to their choices.
-
We also made sure that when buttons were pressed you saw the clear results reflected in the prototype, or at the very least get a pop-up message saying you did the work
